Envelopes print blank using MailMerge due to incorrect printer settings.
Cause:
The setting in the 'Envelope Printing Options' dialog box are incorrect for the printer.
Solution:
Select the correct printer in the 'Printers' list box, the correct printer default tray, and the correct print settings in the 'Envelopes and Labels' dialog box.
1) Open the desired file.
2) Make sure the correct printer is selected by doing the following:
a) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Print...'. (The print dialog box appears.)
b) If the INCORRECT printer is displayed in the Printers section of the dialog box:
1] Select the correct printer from the drop-down list box.
2] Click 'OK'.
c) If the CORRECT printer is displayed proceed to Step 3.
3) Make sure the default tray is properly set for printing envelopes.
a) Select the 'Options...'.
b) Make sure that the printer is set to print envelopes.
1] Look at the Default Tray section.
2] Make sure that either 'Envelope' or 'Manual Envelope' is selected in the drop-down list box.
c) Click 'OK'.
4) Click 'OK'.
5) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Envelopes and Labels...'. (The Envelopes and Labels dialog box appears.)
6) Click the 'Envelopes' tab.
7) Click 'Options...'.
8) Click the 'Printing Options' tab.
9) If the current print setting are INCORRECT:
a) Select the appropriate feed method from the 'Feed Method' group.
b) Change other settings if necessary.
c) Click 'OK'. (The Envelopes and Labels dialog box reappears.)
10) If the current print settings are CORRECT, click 'Cancel'. (The Envelopes and Labels dialog box reappears.)
11) Verify that the address is correct.
12 Click 'Print'.
